“Dr. Campbell’s dedication and passion for helping children, adolescents and adults with dyslexia and other learning disabilities is second-to-none. Her strong advocacy on behalf of those living with disabilities is backed up with real results. Dr. Campbell and her mission is known throughout the Pennsylvania General Assembly, Philadelphia City Council and beyond. Dr. Campbell played a vital role in helping me pass legislation from the House, which was signed into law by then Gov. Tom Corbitt, to establish the Dyslexia and Early Literacy Intervention Pilot Program.”

“The Reading Clinic was a godsend. Dr. Campbell is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and caring. She listened to my concerns regarding my child. We were finally able to get answers on why she was strug-gling so much with reading. Dr. Campbell’s extensive and thorough testing is beyond stellar. She was able to identify that my child has dyslexia and has a wealth of knowledge and expertise on the subject. I can’t thank her enough for the wonderful work she does.”

“Dr. Campbell is a diligent professional educator who clearly demonstrates caring and excellence with cli-ents. She is flexible by working with families regarding their personal situations. It is challenging to find pro-fessionals with her qualifications, as well as the ability to execute realistic plans for students with dyslexia.
Dr. Campbell is detail-oriented, and provides families with comprehensive assessment information that sup-ports the school program and interventions. I highly recommend her as a clinician and interventionist for anyone who is challenged with a reading disability.”

“Over the past few years that you have worked with Sophia, it’s hard to pinpoint one thing that has helped her. I think it’s just all of it together! Your 1:1 time and care you take with her is so valuable. We’ve discussed how she will be so upset to have to come to the session, yet, somehow, she always leaves with a happy face.
Her fluency has improved tremendously. This could be credited to all facets of the work you do with her, from repetition of blending sounds, the specific exercises that focus in on certain sounds and blends, and even going back to some of those earlier exercises pertaining to Also, I can see she is building her own way of how she has to organize herself – knowing when she is going to need more time to complete an assignment or task. Sophia has developed tools to be successful for writing composition. She can organize all of her creative thoughts using the story board diagram for her writing assignments that have been key over the past year. Sophia is so creative and has a great imagination.”

“While researching tutors for my Dyslexic child, I found that the Reading Clinic not only provides tutoring in crucial subjects, for example: math, reading and writing but they also provide services that cater specifically to dyslexic students and adults, in addition to other learning disabilities. I found that the Reading Clinic also does their own comprehensive screening & testing that will help determine a child’s or adult’s academic struggles and their academic needs.”
– Ms. Morris
“The intake process is thorough! We were asked several detailed questions about our son to determine the type of testing needed. This process also helped so he could be matched with a skilled Reading Clinician who could relate to the special needs of our son.”

“In 2000 our lives would forever change as we adopted a set of twin girls that weighed 2.5 pounds with brain and lung bleeds with each twin experiencing their own health and life challenges. Our daughter, Komesha is a beautiful young girl with bright eyes and a smile to win your heart. She is contagious and persistent with both working for her advantage when it comes to learning she is now 14years of age and in the 7th grade.”
“It did not take very long to realize that there were some learning difficulties for Komesha after being retained as early as kindergarten. Even going through psycho-evaluations, hearing exams, auditory and written learning programs, it still was not clicking for her. With several years in school, teachers that continued to speak at the problem but not to it, with parents that put in their time at home for study and raising the bar for education, it was not until the 4th grade and after all of the other resources were not successful in bringing about results that we began to seek Dyslexia study help for our very frustrated and discouraged daughter. We are pleased to inform that if it had not been for Dyslexia Study help through The Reading Clinic, our daughter would have been a very discouraged and frustrated teenager. We are now the parents of a student that challenges herself and embraces the PUSH to raise the bar. Komesha realizes that she will have Dyslexia for life and that it will not go away. In every walk of her journey through this life, Komesha will take Dyslexia with her. She also realizes in order to survive and thrive in this society, you have to PUSH past your situation and circumstance. This would not have been possible without help. It would have been most difficult and God forbid too late to catch her before she emotionally fell. Support in bringing Dyslexia Study help to our school systems is desperately needed. Dyslexia help from The Reading Clinic really helped Komesha. This 3rd marking period she displayed her strongest grades ever – 6 A’s and 3 B’s with 1 very strong C!”
